Please read our delivery information carefully to ensure that your property is suitable for delivery
We will endeavor to deliver your order on the delivery date provided but please note delivery dates are, unfortunately NOT GUARANTEED as we use an external haulage company and problems with delivery can occur that are outside of our control. We also recommend that customers do not arrange for a contractor to be on-site to complete the installation until their order has arrived or if the contractor is already on-site, please ensure orders are placed early enough so that any unforeseen delay with a delivery that is outside of our control, does not cause a delay to your project.

Delivery Service
We despatch all orders promptly from our central warehouse and aim to deliver in 48 hours from order processing your order. This delivery service applies to all orders placed online via our website www.nidagraveluk.co.uk and by phone. We have a 12.00 pm (Noon) cut-off time for processing orders each day, so this allows us time to pick, pack, and despatch your order. All orders received by this time will be despatched for delivery in 48 hours as standard. This normally applies to both small and large orders. For larger orders (ie. over 1000 sqm), the delivery time may be slightly longer as we will try to ensure the most cost-effective shipping option for our customers. We will confirm your delivery date once your order has been processed. We are no longer delivering directly to Ireland or offshore locations such as Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of White, etc, but we can deliver to the customers nominated forwarding company at the standard UK shipping rates for onward shipping to the final delivery address. Our 48-hour delivery policy is based on delivering between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and this excludes weekends and bank holidays. We hold large quantities in stock of our full gravel stabilisation range in our UK warehouse, but should any product be out of stock when your order is placed, this will only be for a very short period of time, customers will be advised immediately and orders will be delivered as soon as the product is back in stock.

How We Deliver
Delivery is made via our haulage partners, Freightroute, who are pallet haulage specialists and have many of their own depots located throughout the country. We despatch a large number of orders with Freightroute every year and they provide a cost-effective, efficient delivery service along with excellent customer service. Freightroute is also part of the Palletline network and some deliveries are delivered via the network. We despatch all orders on non-returnable timber pallets. We despatch two types of pallets, standard pallets and jumbo pallets. Standard pallets are used for Nidagravel 129 and Nidagravel IG040 orders and Jumbo pallets are used for Nidagravel 130 and Nidagravel 140 orders, and other large-format sheet products. Due to the size and weights of our products, large delivery vehicles must be used for delivery and it is important that customers have good access for the delivery vehicle to reach their property to enable delivery to be made. All deliveries are made to the kerbside and unloaded by the driver using a manual pallet truck.

Delivery Times:
Deliveries are normally made between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
We do not deliver on bank holidays or weekends.

Monday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Tuesday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Wednesday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Thursday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Friday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Saturday: No Deliveries
Sunday: No Deliveries

Delivery Vehicles:
Deliveries are normally made using an 18/20 ton, rigid, curtain side HGV equipped with a heavy-duty tail lift.
Standard delivery vehicle dimensions are 11m long x 2.5m wide x 4m high (These are average vehicle dimensions)
We do not normally deliver using articulated lorries (This is subject to order quantity)

Unloading Your Order:
Delivery is made to the kerbside. A manual pallet truck is used by the driver to move your pallet/s onto the tail lift. The pallet/s on the tail lift are then lowered to the ground, pulled off the tail lift, and moved by the driver using the pallet truck to a suitable location. This location will be to the front of the property usually on the driveway, front garden, or to the kerbside. The area where the pallets are to be unloaded must be firm and level in order for the pallet truck to be moved and any incline or slope must not be too steep. Pallets cannot usually be placed or moved on grass, gravel, or rough/uneven ground. In the unlikely event that the driver is unable to unload your pallet using the tail lift, which may be as a result of the driver having to park on a particularly steep incline or that the ground is too uneven to use the pallet truck, then in order to make the delivery safely, the driver may decide that unloading your order by hand is the best option. Unloading by hand is not ideal and we do not encourage this, therefore it is important that access for delivery to and unloading at your property is suitable for our haulier's vehicles and our pallets.

Pallet Dimensions:
Standard pallets are 1.2m long x 0.8m wide or 1.2m long x 1m wide. Nidagravel 129 and IG040 orders are usually shipped on these pallets.
Jumbo pallets are 2m long x 1.2m wide. Nidagravel 130 and 140 orders are shipped on these pallets.

Receipt of Goods
All deliveries should be signed for by the customer upon receipt. Please make sure that you are available on the day of delivery to receive your order and sign for the delivery. If you are not available please ensure that you have made prior arrangements for a third party to sign for your order on your behalf, such as your contractor or a neighbour. If you are not going to be at home to receive your goods and do not have anyone who can sign for your order on your behalf, then please contact us immediately. We can sometimes organise with our hauliers to leave the goods without a signature. However, this lessens the chance of the goods being left exactly where you would like them and you will need to send us an email to confirm that you are happy to accept liability for the goods being left without a signature. Customers should be available on the telephone number provided to ensure our hauliers can contact you directly if needed and also if you are not at home to receive your delivery. Failure to notify us of any delivery restrictions may delay or prevent delivery of your order. Additional delivery costs will be charged for any failed or re-deliveries where customers cannot accept their delivery. Any additional delivery fee will be charged to you 'at cost' in line with our standard delivery costs, which are available to download on our website. (click red button at the top of this page to view our current delivery costs)

Delivery Access To Your Property
Customers must have good access to their property for an HGV and a suitable location for the pallets to be placed. Very narrow lanes, weight restrictions, low overhanging power lines, etc may cause a problem for delivery vehicles and customers should advise us if there are any issues with access to their property. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is good access for an HGV to make the delivery to the kerbside and to ensure there is sufficient room to unload and space to deliver the pallets of Nidagravel grids.

Restricted Delivery Access To Your Property
We cannot deliver to customers with restricted delivery access to their property or site. For customers in locations with very narrow lanes, single tracks, low bridges, weight and width restrictions on access roads, overhanging trees, cables or power lines, etc this may cause our delivery vehicles a problem and we may not be able to deliver to your address. We may have to deliver to an alternative delivery address where access is not an issue or customers may be able to collect from their nearest Freightroute depot. If you have any concerns about the access to your delivery address please contact us by email at sales@nidagraveluk.co.uk or phone on 01832 77 65 68 when placing your order and we can check the address with our hauliers to see if delivery is possible. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders where delivery cannot be made for reasons of restricted access.

IMPORTANT
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided meets our criteria for delivery to ensure that delivery can be made smoothly and without any issues. If an order has been despatched and then cannot be delivered due to restricted access to the delivery address provided then re-delivery charges or cancellation fees will apply.

Further Delivery Information
Whilst we and our haulage partners will always make every effort to deliver the products ordered on the agreed delivery date we cannot be held responsible for matters beyond our control that result in your products not arriving on the day in question. Please do not book landscapers or builders or hire equipment for the day of delivery in case of any events resulting in the scheduled delivery being delayed. In the event of your order not arriving on the scheduled delivery day we will try to deliver your order as quickly as possible, normally the next working day. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
