Nidagravel UK is the trading name of Gravel Stabilisers UK Ltd. We were established in 2015 to distribute the Nidagravel range of honeycomb gravel stabilisers, manufactured by Nidaplast, in the UK. Fast forward to 2023 and several warehouse moves later and we have expanded organically to distribute almost the entire range of products produced by Nidaplast for landscaping and construction applications which cover gravel stabilisation, grass reinforcement, artificial grass drainage, urban paving systems, edgings, and rainwater management. Our website contains a wealth of product information and also allows customers to order a range of products directly from our UK website. We welcome all enquiries from private customers, end-users, building, landscaping, and civil engineering contractors, designers, and architects requiring further technical information or wishing to discuss a project.

We hold large quantities of Nidagravel 129, 130, and 140, Nidagrass and Nidagravel NG040 permanently in stock to enable us to meet UK demand and to offer a rapid delivery service nationwide. We despatch our Nidagravel gravel grids and driveway grids across the UK via our haulage partners to ensure that all orders arrive on-site and on time. The Nidagravel UK team provide full technical support for the full range having been trained at the Nidaplast head offices in France. Nidagravel UK is directly supported by the Nidaplast technical team, who invented and developed the original honeycomb gravel stabilisation system and maintain strict quality control and testing at the factory in France.

Nidagravel is a worldwide registered trademark and the Nidagravel brand name is one of the best-known brands of gravel stabilisation products in the UK, Europe, the USA, and the rest of the world. Nidagravel is manufactured by Nidaplast at their large processing, manufacturing, and head offices in Northern France. Nidaplast is the world leader in gravel stabilisation products having pioneered the development of lightweight honeycomb structures in the 1980s. Today Nidaplast is still the only manufacturer in the world that is able to extrude polypropylene honeycomb gravel stabilisers and parts of the manufacturing process continue to remain a closely guarded secret.


THE ORIGINAL
You may already be familiar with the Nidagravel brand. But what you might not know is that Nidagravel is the original gravel stabilisation system. Nidaplast the manufacturer of Nidagravel, designed and produced the very first honeycomb gravel stabilisers almost 40 years ago, way back in 1984. Since then, there have been many developments in plastic polymers and manufacturing techniques, but the original honeycomb design remains the same and is still the most effective way to stabilise loose gravel. Other honeycomb gravel grids available on the market today are but variations of the original Nidagravel design.


OUR VISION
We want to make gravel, grass, and paved surfaces perform better and provide rainwater management solutions that improve the environment. By doing this we can help improve the built environment, with sustainable urban drainage systems that can improve water quality by helping to mitigate problems such as flooding and water pollution caused by extreme weather events, particularly heavy rainfall, as a result of climate change and global warming. We want to offer a range of permeable surface solutions that offer a better solution to non-permeable traditional surfaces such as tarmac, concrete, or block paving for paths, driveways, and car parks in the UK. We want to do this because our gravel and grass grids are a better option for the environment as they use less energy in manufacture and transportation, create less carbon per sqm, and are 100% rainwater permeable which allows rainwater to naturally soak back into the ground, reducing run-off and flash flooding, which is becoming increasingly important in towns and cities across the UK with rising temperatures and heavy rainfall due to the effects of global warming.
